Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Get Ready…Set… Then slow cook your way to a truly flavourful and easy One-Crock Beef recipe. Slow cooking the prepared beef, results in mouth-tender morsels that takes just minutes to prepare.

Serves 6-8


2 teaspoons Hawaiian Huli Dragon BlenZ*

1 ½ pounds Flank Steak (Tri-Tip and Chuck will do as well)

¼ cup cornstarch

2 Tablespoons olive oil

½ teaspoon minced garlic

¾ cup soy sauce

¾ cup water

¾ cup brown sugar

1 cup grated carrots (approx 2-3)

Sliced green onions for garnish

Cut beef into thin ½ inch strips. In a Ziplock bag add the beef, the BlenZ and the cornstarch. Shake to coat.

Add olive oil, the garlic, soy sauce, and balance of ingredients, to the slow cooker. Add the coated beef  strips and stir together until well coated in the sauce.

Cook for 2-3 hours on high, or on Low for 4-5 hours, until cooked through and tender. Enjoy served over rice with the garnish on top.
